After The Tan

After care is essential to the longevity of your tans, as well as having a gradual unnoticeable shedding of the tan.

We use all RAPID TAN SOLUTIONS:

QUICK RINSING is mandatory to avoid over processing.

**Quick Rinse with room temperature water 3-Hours after your appointment, pat dry.

**Your tan will continue to develop for up to 24 hours, however it is safe to take a regular shower, washing hair and body 8 hours after your Quick Rinse.

**Moisturize twice daily

**Use paraben-free and sulfate-free skincare products. Look for Hempz and Native Brands.

**It is highly recommended that you start using a HEMPZ body wash on day 4, and every other day after. The Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs) dissolve dead skin cells evenly across the entire body, avoiding the "patchy look".

Why Sulfates are "Tan Killers"

Sulfates are harsh detergents used in soaps and shampoos to create lather.

Stripping Effect: They are designed to cut through grease and oil, but on a spray tan, they act as a "cleaner" that washes away the DHA (the tanning active).
Dehydration: Sulfates strip natural oils, drying out the skin. Since a spray tan sits in the top layer of dead skin, dry skin will flake off faster, taking your tan with it.
